A lot of people recently let me know that they enjoyed reading about two idiots I had the pleasure of encountering.   Some people thought they were funny, some people thought they were stupid (I thought both…or maybe just naive).  Either way, one of them (Antiquity1) thought I was the stupid one…and I was met with this evemail upon logging into the game one day.

I was not really running an errand…I knew he was trying to kill my wolf…so I fit up my Hurricane for a little bit of gank…and started a convo with one of my friends (Emizeko Chai…thanks man!) for some Remote Rep support, as well as letting the one person in corp chat know I was about to get corp aggro.  Sadly, he couldn’t make it in time.

The last two lines were a result of me ship/cargo scanning him, then docking back up to refit my scram/ab…he never thought anything of it.  He had 2 scrams, 3 webs, and not much of a tank…i’d say he wanted my wolf dead

I didn’t forget fleet warp…I warped to the other station to jump in the Cane.  His little friend followed me and saw me in the Cane.  He never said anything though, and since he says something that was funny about the Cane in a little bit…I truly think he didn’t know.

This statement was made, as you can tell…almost 3 minutes into the fight…lol

I decided to try and take out his drones which is why the fight was taking so long, it was a dumb move as he started getting through my armor.  Luckily he never used those webs and either I got out of scram range, or my ECM drones got a lucky jam off…and I warped out at about 20% armor.

Sweet…now buy another Myrm and undock in it completely unfit when you think my aggro is gone, even though I just blew your loot can up to extend it for another 15 minutes?  Thanks Man! This actually happened a bit later…but it fit it nicely with the narration here…

Well, I hope you all enjoyed it…I know I did

And now for the short version…

One of the guys that I posted about the other day decided they wanted to fight my Wolf vs their Myrmidon.  I agreed, but ship scanned them before the fight and decided to switch to the Hurricane I had brought just in case.  The Myrm had 2 scrams and 3 webs for my Wolf…no thank you.

Using fleet warp, I warped to him after getting the Cane, almost died because I tried to take out the drones and couldn’t do it quick enough and he just kept dropping more out….but I got out of scram range (don’t think he actually used the webs) and warped off.

The through some extension of aggro with cans/wrecks he left in a belt from mining earlier I followed him to another system where we agreed to have another fight outside the station.  He didn’t know about the 60 second dock timer from aggro…never took his drones off me so couldn’t dock.  I blew him up, with the help of a friendly Remote Repper in case he did too much…I don’t think I really needed the rep though…not sure either way.

I then extended aggro again by blowing up the can he jettisoned for me to take to get aggro that I didn’t actually take…and blew him up again when he undocked in an unfit Myrm…end of story
