Your thoughts do echo mine insofar that it is quite sad that most people are just not reading the mission description anymore. It would be really nice to see missions that draw you a bit more into the rich background-story of EVE and to make them so that the runner of said mission get’s hooked in an engaging story. I guess there will always be ppl for whom missions are only a way to get bounties, salvage and loot, but for those interested in playing a bigger part in an ongoing, perhaps dynamic story, for those who would like to see hint’s reviled in missions about things to come, about historic events or about famous characters, missions would be much more fun if they could provide that kind of content.
